Dementia Friends Canada is a national campaign to help Canadians to learn a little about dementia, and then turn that understanding into simple actions that can improve the lives of people living with dementia.
We created a campaign that focuses on empowering Canadians with some of the early signs of dementia, and offers tips on what people can do to help someone live well. We also created a a tip-based website through interactive and engaging scenarios.
What did we change? Manifest was able to increase registered Dementia Friends by more than 579% to 312,384. More importantly, a survey of more than 3,151 Canadians revealed that registered Dementia Friends feel significantly better equipped to both seek out as well as provide support to someone with early-stage dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
