Too many teens are trying to cope with stress, depression, anxiety and more on their own and quietly hope that things will simply go away. For parents, too many are struggling to find good mental health supports for their child.
Our campaign features that parents and youth have lots on their minds and presents Health Care Options as a new directory of free child and youth mental health services. It’s an important first step toward getting much-needed peace of mind.
What did we change? The campaign drove more than 32,000 visits to the youth mental health website — an 887% jump in visits. Users were heavily engaged with the content spending more than four minutes on the site — this is 68% higher than the ontario.ca average. Teens agreed with the sentiments in the campaign, agreed mental health support is needed and many requested further resources.
