While most Ontarians agree that taking care of their teeth is very important, too many people don’t see their dentist regularly. As a result, they can end up with painful, costly oral health problems that could have been detected and treated earlier.
We took a light-hearted approach to getting people to see their dentist with a simple appeal to consumers: “Make Your Teeth a Big Deal“. The call to action asked people to make that important phone call to book an appointment.
What did we change? The campaign made a big impact on Ontarians with over 50% of those who heard the radio ad and 60% of those who saw the digital banners ads, starting to think about taking better care of their teeth. Bigger yet was one-quarter of our target made an appointment to see their dentist and an additional 20% intended to do so.
